We will be enjoying one original work presented by a member of the gentle books community, selected from our call for open submissions, and two additional pieces chosen by our co-host Lagom.

Ticket price is inclusive of one drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). Additional food and beverage is available for purchase.

A limited number of tickets will be available for walk-in guests at the door. Tickets purchased at the door day-of start at HKD208.

Schedule

  • 6:30 pm: doors open
  • 7:00 - 7:45 pm: poetry readings
  • 7:45- 9:00 pm: open social and mingling

The thursday book club by gentle books is an event series spotlighting reading communities across Hong Kong, celebrating a range of genres, conversations, and books. Every edition of the book club is unique — this evolving format invites guest hosts to innovate new formats and activate literature.

In this edition, our guest co-host is Lagom, led by Sau Wai Chan and Bauhinia Lee. The best kinds of conversations and connections are when it's not too much, not too little. We strive to curate the perfect balance of social and introspection, amongst friends old and new.
